No. The purpose of Generationally Prepared is to act as a resource center that provides support through access to personal finance education using various tools such as online courses and webinars, interviews and access to a wide variety of professionals within the eldercare planning arena, a strong online community, guidance and mentoring for those providing support to aging family members and loved ones. Generationally Prepared is NOT a registered Advisory firm, nor a Broker Dealer or affiliated with any Broker Dealer. Generationally Prepared does not engage in any form of or providing financial planning advice, recommendations, or services. Any discussions of financial planning concepts are strictly for educational purposes. For any actual advice or specific recommendations, you must consult your actual professional advisors such your lawyer, accountant, Certified Financial Planner, or medical professional.

Guidance: Information about different types of general principles for you to consider. It does not mean a specific course of action or recommendation for you to take.

Mentoring: A relationship where a more experienced or more knowledgeable person helps guide a less knowledgeable or less experienced person.

While one of the strongest aspects of Generationally Prepared is our online community of like-minded people and those in similar situations that seek support, insight, a place to share stories and experiences while caring for their loved ones and family: You must remember that, as in any community, online and otherwise, you must be careful of how you choose to interact. Please do not share any personal information such as addresses, phone numbers or any specific information such as account numbers. If you choose to provide another community member your personal contact information (or any other personal details such as account numbers) and seek to build a more personal relationship outside of the Generationally Prepared Online Forum, you assume all risks that go along with that. What you can share are shared experiences such as working with long term care facilities, government agencies, types of hospice services. What types of treatment worked for you loved one, how do you deal with the emotional challenges of being a care giver, why are you frustrated….all this and more! Offer support for each other and share your stories and experiences.

Please provide specific examples of how you have been approached by sending a private message to Generationally Prepared. Include a copy/pasted record or screen shot of the online communication within your message. Generationally Prepared takes the safety of our community very seriously. While each case will be investigated separately, rest assured – when validated – the offender will no longer be a member of the Generationally Prepared community.

The purpose of the online community is to have a free flow of support, shared information, experiences, and personal insight to all aspects of providing care and support to aging seniors, family and loved ones. This community will include persons of all faiths, color, personal backgrounds, religions, political backgrounds, various orientations, etc. Providing care and support for an aging senior, family member and lived one impacts all of us. Everyone will be valued in this community. Any specific political, religious, sexual, racial, or any other negative comments will not be tolerated. Please report any such offenses by sending a private message to Generationally Prepared. Include a copy/pasted record or screen shot of the online communication within your message. While each situation will be investigated, be aware, Generationally Prepared will always error on the side of caution and offenders will be eliminated from the community. Bottom line everyone; we all know the lines not to cross – so please don’t!
